About Drop Bear
A husband and wife team, Tim and Kjersti, took over management of “David Brown’s Deli” on Habour Street, Whistable in autumn 2019, to create Dropbear Kitchen. With a background of theatre, film, television, graphic arts and horticulture - they love to put on a show and impress with their service.
They bring a passion for sustainable, local and seasonal produce - providing delicatessen products on the right, with an empasis on the ingredients they use in the kitchen and hand-crafted, freshly made dishes on the left. The menu changes daily.
The Bar/Restuarant is very much in the continental style, with high top bar area and stools and a couple of tables in the window. It’s a very friendly and intimate space where people often like to chat with one another while enjoying a great glass of wine and delicious food.
